Aww, I’m so glad the prizewinner is happy with my Doctor doll!

Here’s a 10th Doctor plushie I was just commissioned to do. Felt, polyfil, and acrylic paint on the face & pinstripes. He stands at roughly 12” tall.

10 will be flying to his new home on Monday!

Thanks y’all, for hanging on as followers while I was away from the internets, finishing my degree. Now I’m done and am devoting most of my time to my plushie business!

And finally, here’s that Jim Moriarty (BBC Sherlock) plushie I teased you with. This was made as a prototype for a friend who requested him. Depending on which of the two she chooses, this might go up in my shop soon. He stands at 15” but is made to sit on his bum.

Aaand here’s a prototype I made before the last Tenner, this one shorter at 10.5” tall.

His pinstripes were a pain in the arse to hand-sew, so he’s a little more expensive than the commissioned one was.

And here’s Moriarty, take two.

This was an experiment in button-jointing, face-painting, and 3D-head-making. From this, I learnt the necessity of making a paper pattern first to make sure the shapes actually work.

This creature was inspired by a great t-shirt design by Australian artist Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz (buy it on RedBubble)!

I guess his maker sewed his eye sockets shut once she decided to use them for teeth instead! This monster can stand up on his own for the most part, but sometimes he needs a little support. Made of felt and fleece, stuffed with polyfill. 9” tall, 1.5” wide. 100% handsewn!
